The staff were super friendly. The room was huge and very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, just a short walk from a multi-storey car park about 400 metres away. I also loved the games in the lounge area!

Breakfast, although expensive, is very good. rooms are very spacious and amenities are very good. staff is friendly and have 24-hour reception service.
The water pressure wasn't good in the bathroom, at least on the fifth floor. The pillows are very soft, I didn't ask if they had other pillows either. The rooms are not well soundproofed, you hear everything that happens in the corridor and adjoining rooms.

Have stayed at the hotel 3 times now and is very handy for my place of work and to local shops restaurants - I would always stay at this hotel when visting Reading and am aware that one of my colleagues does the same as they are very impressed with the hotel too. I also feel that the reception bar area is very inviting and have no problem as a woman on my own sitting in the bar area for a drink/meal rather than having to sit in the hotel room.

Very smartly refurbished with lots of modern facilities like a cool shower, lcd tv and tons of integration for your gadgets. Design with brown and orange a little ott for me.

Excellent location in Reading city centre. Ground floor is dedicated to an open space with large cow skins sofas, rotating disco bal, Hed kandi music etc. It gives a relaxed lounge club feeling. The rooms were spacious, windows could open, coffee/tea facilities were available, no problems with music ( as could be expected from high up (506).
The fitness room has a low ceiling and with my 1.95m I was not able to run on the treadmill without bumping my head.

Funky lobby & bar area; very comfortable large bed; good gym; very friendly & efficient staff
Broken aircon meant room too hot; had to keep window wide open in January! Told reception; apologised and said ongoing problem, yet to be fixed

On arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming and were helpful throughout my whole stay. The food was great and the room was comfortable and relaxing. The boutique decor really themed throughout the hotel worked beautifully with a real sense of atmosphere, I would definitely recommend it!

great spots for city strolls and nearby parks
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with a comfortable bed and a relaxed atmosphere, just 500 meters away, and the wonderful Museum of Reading, only about 800 meters from the hotel. As a solo traveler, I found the staff supportive and the amenities comfortable, but I did notice that the bar area felt a bit empty and could benefit from a livelier atmosphere.
